All refund requests are subject to approval from the appropriate convenor. South Winnipeg soccer convenors will have the sole discretion as to whether or not a refund request is approved or denied.
Once a refund request has been issued a player will be considered ineligible for the remainder of the season for which the refund has been issued.
Mini Soccer
No refunds will be issued once the soccer season starts except in extenuating circumstances such as:
A season ending injury which prevents further participation
A relocation to an area outside the city of Winnipeg
All refund requests are subject to approval from the mini soccer convenor.

Youth Soccer
After the registration close date and teams are formed, refunds are only considered in the following circumstances:
Extenuating circumstances such as a season ending injury or a move outside of Winnipeg and the surrounding area.
Team exceeds the maximum size as defined by WYSA
No refunds will be issued once the soccer season starts except in extenuating circumstances such as:

Refund amounts
Prior to registration close dates:
Mini Soccer: full refund minus $10 or 5% of the registration fee, whichever is more.
Youth Soccer: full refund minus $15 or 5% of the registration fee, whichever is more.
Refunds for MSA fees are to be requested directly from MSA and are up to the discretion of MSA.
Prior to season start:
Mini Soccer: full refund minus $20 or 5% of the registration fee, whichever is more.
Youth Soccer: full refund minus $25 or 5% of the registration fee, whichever is more.
Refunds for MSA fees are to be requested directly from MSA and are up to the discretion of MSA.
After season starts:
Rate of refund will be determined by a prorated amount based on number of matches played and administration fees that have been incurred.
Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, team cancellations or lack of coaches that happen prior to season start will receive a full refund minus any transaction fees and costs that the program has already incurred.
