Soccer player registration now utilizes RAMP as it's registration tool. If you have utilized RAMP for registration for other sports you can utilize the same login.
Payments are submitted as part of the registration process. The online registration program accepts most major credit cards (sorry Interact is not accepted). If you are unable to register online please contact the registrar.
Coaching is critical to both the development and enjoyment for our young soccer players. Being a soccer coach, does NOT require soccer experience. Please consider becoming a coach. There are coaching certificate courses that are available to you, to help you gain experience and information. These courses are NOT mandatory, but you are encouraged to take part!
**KEEP IN MIND ALL THAT ALL OF OUR TEAMS ARE LEAD BY PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHES. IN ORDER TO HOST THE TEAMS IN SOUTH WINNIPEG AND KEEP OUR PLAYERS FROM BEING TRANSFERRED OUT - COACHES MUST STEP UP AND OFFER TO LEAD A TEAM.**
Registration for indoor soccer will open Sept. 1, 2024, and run until Sept. 22nd, 2024.
Teams are created in cooperation with the other community centre’s in the Manitoba Soccer Association league. If there are too many players OR if we don’t have enough players to make a team OR we do not have a volunteer coach for the team then players may be hosted by a neighborhood community club. We work quite closely with Whyte Ridge and St. Norbert when forming our teams so you may play out of one of those community centers andoccasionally your team may be hosted by a different community. Our goal is to ensure ALL kids get to play soccer. We do our best to keep all South Winnipeg Community Centre children in the age group together, regardless of where the team is hosted.
Once registration is closed, teams will be formed, coaches confirmed, and practice times coordinated with each coach. Players will be contacted by the coach who will inform them of practice times and location
Youth Indoor Soccer may start practices in October.
Youth Outdoor Soccer may start practices near the end of April.
